A passionate yogini for over a decade.

A loving friend to the Earth and all its beings.

I took my first yoga class in college while studying Environmental Science. I loved learning about how the world worked…

…but unfortunately I wasn’t in love with myself and didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin.

As an overweight youth, self-esteem issues and disordered eating started early.

After the tragic loss of my best friend at 16, I tumbled down a slippery slope of unhealthy coping mechanisms to numb the pain.

 

One toxic habit and relationship after the next left my body and spirit feeling broken.

As we do, I pushed on. Surviving, not thriving.

But after that first yoga class, something in me started to shift. I knew I was meant to feel better. I knew I had to start making changes.

Over the next few months, I started going to yoga classes more frequently and reading all the yoga books I could find.

I didn’t quite understand how at first, but my yoga practice was helping me heal!

Slowly, my life was shifting back into balance.

I quit smoking, cleaned up my diet, began exercising and practicing yoga at home, and working on the most important relationship we have - the one with ourselves.

Fast forward to 2019 and I was at a crossroads.

A stressful corporate job left me feeling unfulfilled and in poor health. Inside me was a deep-rooted truth - I KNEW I was meant for something different.

 

So, I left my ‘safe’ full-time job and wholeheartedly committed to my dharma. To share the transformational system that is Yoga with as many people as possible.

I’m here to help YOU on your path. To find healing. To find health. To find your inner peace. To create a balanced life full of the things that make you smile.

Each of us are meant to feel good in our skin.

To enjoy each day. That doesn’t mean each day is easy. It doesn’t mean there aren’t challenges and pain.

But there can be less worry. Less suffering. Less doubt. Less stress.

More health. More laughter. More gratitude. And more love.

And that’s why I do what I do - to share what’s helped me find my inner balance.

Yoga for mind-body

Yoga provides a framework for us to take care of our bodies, strengthen our breath-mind connection and build inner strength and confidence. Additionally, moving our body is a critical component to establishing wellness in our lives.

I lead gentle, yin, vinyasa flow & restorative yoga classes that are designed to encourage balancing your body, mind, and spirit.


Healing meditation

The benefits of meditation & deep relaxation are numerous. Reduced stress & anxiety, more restful sleep, improved mood and quality of life, increased attention, enhanced creativity and decreased impulsive reactions are just a few.

Meditation helps you know yourself better, appreciate yourself and others more, and feel more balanced in your life.

I’m passionate about sharing the transformational meditation technique of Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra and how it can help you easily access the benefits of deep relaxation!

 

 

Plants as FOOD AND Medicine

What we consume on a regular basis plays an enormous role in our health or lack thereof. Many illnesses have been reverted or lessened in severity with simple lifestyle & diet changes.

As a master herbalist and plant-based lifestyle enthusiast, Brigid can help you reach your wellness goals through sustainable lifestyle modification (read: Not a diet!) and simple daily shifts. Discover the difference between surviving and thriving.
